Shipping and Returns Policy

This Agreement was last revised on 30th September 2023 and should be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions.

  1. Order processing – Order processing commences 24 hours after the placement of an order, marking the beginning of the subsequent steps involved in fulfilling the order.
  2. Shipping timelines – Majority of our products are “Made in India”. We can ship the products to most pin codes in India, as well as ship products internationally. As with most e-commerce companies, we use third party logistics partners, such as Blue Dart, Delhivery or similar companies for order fulfilment.

    In India, normally, we expect to fulfil the orders within 7 to 10 days depending on the address. During the festive season, or public holidays, the timelines may be stretched further by 5 to 7 days.

  3. International shipping –
    Nevan Kids can deliver the products all over the world and we have tie-ups with DHL, Aramex, and India Post to deliver the shipments in perfect condition, which can be tracked online on the shipper’s website. We deliver international shipments between 15-25 days depending on the location. All the custom duty/taxes/additional fees (if any) will be paid by the Buyer in their own country, we are not responsible for the payment of such charges.

    Given the possibility of labor strikes and lock-outs, transport disruptions and force majeure events, we cannot guarantee specific order fulfilment timelines for reasons outside our control.

  4. Express shipping – We regret that we are unable to offer express shipping service at this stage. We are working on this option and expect to offer this to our customers very soon.
  5. Cash on Delivery and Order verification
    Nevan Kids allows customers to place an order via Cash on Delivery (COD) payment mode. Currently, it is our policy to accept COD orders for total order value being less than ₹1000 (excluding shipping costs).

    Customers placing a COD order may receive an order verification call from Nevan Kids team on their mobile phone. Nevan Kids reserves the right to cancel any COD order for lack of verification for reasons such as customer unreachable on phone, address not complete or not serviceable, or any such reasons that potentially increase the chances of order being returned undelivered.

  1. Prepaid Orders
    Nevan Kids offers a flat discount of 10% to customers opting to pay via our secure payment gateway. Further, this discount offer can be clubbed with any other discount coupon the customer may hold.
  1. Order cancellation –
    Nevan Kids provide customers with a 24-hour cooling period following order placement, during which they can reconsider their decision.

    For prepaid orders, customers may cancel their orders during this cooling period and receive full refund of their prepaid amount. Once the 24-hour period has elapsed, order processing begins, and we are unable to accommodate any cancellations thereafter. [Order status on the website may not reflect real time updates].  

    For COD orders, we request customers to notify us on email or request cancellation within the cooling period, although COD orders may be cancelled at any time prior to delivery. If the order is cancelled after the product is shipped, the customer must not accept the delivery from the logistics partner. Nevan Kids reserves the right to blacklist customers who place COD orders and cancel them after the cooling period.
    Nevan Kids may cancel the order under rare circumstances, including:

    – Incorrect pricing or description of the product
    – Payment fraud detection by Payment Gateway or our department.
    – Incorrect or Incomplete Buyer’s Address
    – Pin code not serviceable
    – Available products did not pass our internal Quality Check during the dispatch of the product.

    In cases where Nevan Kids cancels the order due to issues at its end (such as incorrect pricing or description of the product, available products not passing QC), Buyer will be entitled for full refund. In case of payment fraud detection by Payment Gateway, the refund will be processed by the Payment Gateway as per their policies. In case of an incomplete address, Nevan Kids will attempt to contact the Buyer via registered email for rectification. If the address is not rectified by the Buyer, order will be cancelled and refund will be processed.

  1. Order modification
    Orders may be modified by customers during the initial 24-hour period. If you wish to change size, colour, or design of the product that you have ordered and there is no difference in price, then you can simply write to us on [email protected] within the 24-hour period with your order details and the requested change.

    For prepaid orders, if order modification results in a positive price change, where the customer must pay Nevan Kids an additional amount, we will send you our QR code for paying the differential amount. After receiving the payment, the revised order will be processed.
    If order modification results in a negative price change, where Nevan Kids owes partial refund to the customer, Nevan Kids will process the order and the partial refund to the original payment mode. Please note, it takes 7-10 working days for refund amount to reflect in account.

    For COD orders, we will notify you the price change, if any, upon order modification, and only process the order upon receiving a confirmation.

    Orders cannot be modified after the 24-hour cooling period. 

  2. Size replacement and exchange

    For products that come in various sizes, such as t-shirts or sweatshirts, we offer one free replacement for size. In such cases, we require the customer to notify us on email or by requesting a replacement via “My Account” section within 48 hours of the product being delivered.

    Size replacement will be provided for the same product type only. It is not permitted to order replacement in different product category, different colour or different design than the one originally ordered. In situations where the original ordered product is out of stock for the requested size, Nevan Kids allows customers to order replacement for different product type, colour, or design in lieu of the original product, subject to price difference (if any). 

    Upon receiving a replacement request for size, we will first create a reverse pick up. Customer is required to return the product, in new and original condition with original packaging and tags, to the logistics partner. The product must be unused and must not have been washed. If a reverse pick up is not possible at the customer address, we will notify the customer. Only in this case, the customer must neatly and carefully pack the product and ship it to our warehouse. 

    After the product reaches our warehouse, it will undergo internal quality checks. Upon passing the internal quality checks, we will ship the replacement order to the customer. If the product fails during the internal quality checks, due to signs of wear and tear, product being used, product being washed, original tags and packaging missing, or for any reason due to which the product does not appear in new and original condition, we are unable to provide the free size replacement. In this case, we will re-ship the original product back to you, or reimburse you 50% of the product cost (net of shipping fees and GST). Nevan Kids decision will be final and binding upon the customer in this regard.     

    For hygiene reasons, we cannot provide size replacement for Rompers. We regret that requests for size replacement and exchange made more than 48 hours after product delivery cannot be fulfilled. 

  1. Replacement and Refund
    Nevan Kids offers its products and services on a NO RETURN, and NO REFUND basis. We sincerely regret the inconvenience. If a wrong product is delivered or if there are any production defects, only in these limited circumstances we offer a replacement product. Customers are required to notify us about such a situation within 48 hours of the product being delivered.

    It is possible to have a colour disparity of 5-10% between the picture and the actual received product due to the calibration of the desktop/mobile screen. Such orders will not be counted under defective or any other issue.

    Adequate care has been taken in writing product descriptions and specifications. There may be minor discrepancy in the actual size which will not ordinarily affect the usability of such product. Accordingly, such products will not be counted as defective products for wrong size.  

    In the case of Prepaid order, if any Buyer denies taking the product from the delivery person or is not reachable due to any reason, we regret that we do not offer any refund in such cases.

  2. Wrong product or defective product
    As we rely on third party companies for order fulfilment, we require the Buyer to video record unpacking of the product. Please make sure that the unpacking video clearly shows all sides of the original parcel are sealed and intact before you start unpacking it on the video. If any product delivered has defects, such as a torn t-shirt, a product with the wrong design, or wrong colour, you are required to notify us within 48 hours of receiving the parcel, with a copy of the unpacking video. Upon verification of the video recording, if Nevan Kids approves a replacement for wrong product or defective product, we will arrange a replacement product at no additional cost. Only if a replacement cannot be arranged by us, we will refund the value of the defective product.

    The wrong product or defective product must be returned to us in new and unused condition, with original packing and unbroken tags. In this case, it is the responsibility of the Buyer to safely pack the product to be returned and ship it to our warehouse. The cost towards this shipping will have to be pre-approved by Nevan Kids and will be reimbursed to the Buyer when we receive the product in our warehouse.  For our international customers, outside India, the shipping cost for the return, will have to be borne by the Buyer.  

    Final decision on approval of the replacement or refund for wrong or defective product shall be with Nevan Kids, and our decision will be binding on the Buyer.    

  3. Failed delivery due to incorrect address or Buyer not available at time of delivery –
    Unfortunately, Nevan Kids cannot accept any liability for failed delivery on account of these reasons. Nevan Kids recommends coordinating with the logistics company to ensure a successful delivery. For prepaid orders, if the products are returned to us, we regret that we do not offer any refund in these matters. If these packages need to be shipped to the Buyer again, the Buyer will have to separately pay for additional two-way shipping cost, including the return shipping fee.
